President, International Business
Chris Langholz joined Tyson Foods in 2019 to lead the company’s international business. He is responsible for the overall international growth strategy of the company, its global business models, and all overseas operations. Located in Singapore, Chris leads a diverse team across Europe, Asia, Australia and the United States and continues to build on the company’s international momentum.
A member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Chris reports to President & CEO Donnie King.
Prior to joining the company, he served as president of Cargill Asia Pacific and President of International Protein. Chris brings abundant expertise in the global protein sector, having spent over 20 years with Cargill in additional various international leadership roles including global poultry, grain and crop inputs, process improvement, and animal nutrition. Throughout his career, Chris has lived across numerous countries and brings with him the ability to look at issues through the lenses of different cultures and nations.
As a people leader, Chris maintains a team-first mentality and knows that developing team members is key to our success. His commitment to prioritizing people and workplace safety is reflected in his consistently top rankings of annual employee engagement while at Cargill. Under his leadership, his previous businesses achieved record safety and financial results.
Chris is an advisor for various Asia-based Ag-tech start-ups. He earned degrees in English Literature and Political Science at the University of South Dakota, followed by a master’s degree in International Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
