At Tyson Foods, we're committed to ensuring the vitality and sustainability of local communities. We've expanded our efforts to reach communities in impactful ways, no matter what the need.
Upward Academy

Accessible growth within arm's reach

Upward Academy’s mission is to elevate team members and community partnerships by providing free and accessible ESL, GED, citizenship, and functional literacy classes to all plant team members. This is just another way we strive to ensure Tyson Foods is an industry leader in employee care by providing an innovative, best-practices-based, and on-site workplace education program.

By the numbers, here’s what we’re doing in the fight against hunger.

Contributing to the cause

Protein should be accessible to all, no matter where the need is. We partner with Feeding America and its network of food banks to bring support from product donations to our own team member volunteers to help communities stock and sustain local food banks.

We're continuing to make an impact

We're always embarking on new ways to reach communities in need. Check out our Annual Sustainability Report to see full roster of programs, and how we're measuring up year after year.
