Group President Poultry
Donnie King was named group president of poultry in September 2020. He has over 36 years of experience working in the poultry business for Tyson Foods, both domestically and globally, and is once again leading the company’s poultry business.
A member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Donnie reports to President & CEO Dean Banks.
Donnie first joined Tyson Foods in 1982 and served in poultry plant, complex and supply chain management. He has held a variety of executive leadership positions, including president of North American operations, managing all operational aspects of poultry, fresh meats and prepared foods. He has also been group president of international.
He has most recently served as group president and chief administration officer, leading areas such as food safety and quality assurance, health and safety, continuous improvement, engineering, and supply chain.
Donnie is a former member of the executive committee of the National Chicken Council’s board of directors and a former member of the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
