Tyson Foods Continues to Expand Childcare Accessibility to Team Members

New Northwest Arkansas childcare facility latest addition to benefits portfolio

Springdale, Ark. – December 15, 2022 Tyson Foods announced today it will open a state-of-the-art childcare center in 2023 for Northwest Arkansas team members near its world headquarters campus in Springdale.

“Caring for our team members and their families has always been at the core of the Tyson culture,” said Jane Duke, project lead for the world headquarters expansion. “Childcare is a barrier we can address that will not only support our team members but solve a need so our employees can be successful at work and provide for their families. This childcare center and the new corporate campus are key initiatives as we strive to become the most sought-after place to work.”

Tyson Foods is partnering with Bright Horizons, a nationally recognized leader in childcare to provide care for more than 200 infants and preschoolers of Tyson Foods team members. It will also offer options for after-care for school-aged children.

This marks the third investment in childcare by Tyson Foods in less than two years. In 2021, the company announced two pilot projects that will provide greater access to affordable childcare for hourly team members in Humboldt, Tennessee, and Amarillo, Texas. These investments demonstrate the company’s latest commitment to continue building a culture that allows our team members and their families to grow and thrive. Additionally, as part of our efforts to recruit and retain hourly team members, we’ve also piloted flexible work schedules and provided $50 million in year-end bonuses.
