Danyel Bischof-Forsyth
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Danyel Bischof-Forsyth oversees the use of technology to drive innovation and business growth at Tyson Foods. She has more than three decades of experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives in multiple industries.
As a member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Danyel reports to President and CEO, Donnie King.
Danyel started at Tyson Foods in 2018 and has held various leadership roles, overseeing many complex technical implementations across the enterprise. She led technology delivery for the company’s Poultry and Prepared Foods businesses, providing strategy, innovation, business development, application support and a single point of contact in the technology organization. She also held leadership roles overseeing technology strategy and capability delivery for supply chain, warehousing, transportation, sales, and marketing.
Before joining Tyson Foods, she spent nearly 30 years in technology leadership with Hallmark Cards. She successfully created a technology strategy for a network of more than 5,000 card shops and 50,000 retail locations. At the end of her tenure with the greeting card company, she was the chief information officer for the flagship greetings division.
Danyel has a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a Master of Science in business administration from The University of Kansas.
