Group President, Prepared Foods
Noelle O’Mara is Group President of Prepared Foods for Tyson Foods, responsible for $9 billion of the company’s $40 billion business worldwide. A member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Noelle reports to President & CEO Dean Banks.
Noelle manages all aspects of the Prepared Foods portfolio, including billion-dollar brands Tyson, Jimmy Dean and Hillshire Farm. She leads capabilities and growth across innovation, insights, culinary, and R&D, with oversight of more than 25,000 team members and one-third of the company’s manufacturing facilities.
Noelle, who has more than 17 years of food marketing and brand management experience, joined Tyson Foods in April 2016 as vice president, new business models. She served as general manager and senior vice president of the Tyson and Jimmy Dean brands before being named group president of prepared foods. Before joining Tyson Foods, Noelle held senior level general manager positions with Kraft Heinz, where she led marketing and innovation for some of America’s most iconic brands.
Noelle has a proven track record of growing businesses and building high performance teams, the kind that accelerate growth and lead to top and bottom line results. She is focused on modernizing Tyson Foods’ existing brands while creating the next generation of innovation.
Noelle is the recipient of two Cannes Lions and an Effie award and has served as an Effie Worldwide judge for four years. She was also named to Crain’s Chicago “40 under 40” list.
Noelle is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.
