Suzanne Finstad

Suzanne is Vice President, Food Safety and Quality Assurance for the poultry segment of Tyson Foods. She is responsible for leading the team that verifies that our chicken is made according to specification (think recipe) and that we can be confident our customers and consumers will have an excellent eating experience. Suzanne has been with the company for more than 20 years.

Before joining Tyson Foods, Suzanne worked for another poultry integrator where she not only raised turkeys, but also met her best friend and husband. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science degree from the University of Arkansas.

Outside of work, Suzanne has an amazing family that includes her husband, their two boys, one teddy bear of an English bulldog, and one terrorist pug. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering the kids on in everything from band to bowling. During the fall, she and her husband are fairly obsessive about SEC football and, particularly, whether Texas A&M beats Arkansas. She is also an avid reader – much to the annoyance of everyone except the pug.
