Roy Brister, Ph.D

Managing Director of Nutrition and Feed Mill Operations

Roy was born and raised in Texas, and attended and graduated from Orange Grove High School in Orange Grove, TX.

After graduating from high school, he attended Bee County Jr. College for two years before transferring to Texas A & M University. At Texas A & M, he received a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Education, followed by a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Poultry Nutrition.

Roy worked as a Nutritionist/Technical Consultant for Nutrius Inc./BioProducts for four years before taking a job in the poultry industry, and has worked for Tyson Foods for the past 32 years in various nutrition-related areas.
