Kathleen is a registered dietitian and Senior Manager of Wellness and Nutrition with Tyson Foods, Inc. in Chicago. Her areas of expertise include nutrition and health policy, food marketing and communicating science-based messages to a wide range of audiences.
At Tyson, Kathleen helps integrate wellness and nutrition into brand/business strategies, positioning, initiatives and programs. Previously, she was Medical and Scientific Affairs Manager with Nestle Nutrition where she focused on infant nutrition. Before joining Nestle, her role at Kraft included product labeling, nutrition claim substantiation and development of nutrition information materials. She began her career as a clinical/renal dietitian and public health nutritionist with WIC and also served as a nutrition instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program in Pasadena, California. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Kathleen received her Master of Science in Nutrition at The Pennsylvania State University and Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics at The Ohio State University.
