Tyson Fresh Meat plants are globally recognized in this area, having achieved certification to the GFSI [Global Food Safety Initiative] by the BRC international certification body. Tyson Fresh Meat plants are robustly staffed with trained quality control professionals with years of experience in food safety and quality systems. Each of our plants are 100% USDA Inspected with USDA food safety inspectors on-site during all hours of production. Each plant is audited several times annually by certified food safety and animal welfare specialists from internationally recognized, independent 3rd-party audit companies.
